We could talk at length about our involvement in good causes and how we're genuinely proud to be in a position to help our community. But why take our word for it?

Here's what some of our beneficiaries have to say about the Microgaming Health & Care Trust.

Age Isle of Man (formerly Age Concern Isle of Man) - Less + More

“I want to express sincere thanks to the Microgaming Hospital Trust from myself, the team here and all the clients of Age Concern Isle of Man for the generous donation in 2005 which enabled us to add an additional minibus to our operations. Our minibus currently covers 72,000 miles each year to collect 20,000 attendees for our five day care centres. We serve 4,800 meals at lunch clubs and deliver a further 75,000 meals for ‘Meals on Wheels’. These are vitally needed community services and we are extremely grateful for support and donations such as this one.”

Penny Creighton MBE, former chief executive

Arthritis Research Campaign (ARC) - Less + More

“The Douglas branch of Arthritis Research Campaign has existed on the island for nearly fifty years. During this time we have held many events to raise money for research into this very debilitating condition. We have also received financial support from the business community on the island, and the grant we received from the trust enabled us to send much needed funds for research and also to buy a specialist bed for the hospital. Great strides have been made in the treatment of this disease, and we are grateful for the continued help of such bodies as the trust, in order that our work may continue.”

Michael J Lees, chairman

Isle of Man Children's Centre - Less + More

“We are so grateful for the support of the Manx community and local organisations, and we really couldn’t offer the services we do without it. The grant we received from the Microgaming Health & Care Trust allowed us to purchase a minibus, which means we are able to offer bespoke services to the people and places that need them most. The minibus has given us the opportunity to take activities to thousands of children and young people across the island.”

Michelle O'Malley, fundraising coordinator

Joey Dunlop Foundation - Less + More

“Having worked in the finance sector for nearly 40 years, I have seen many organisations arrive and depart from the island without ever supporting the community. It is extremely pleasing to learn that Microgaming have supported a wide range of Manx charities, virtually since the day they arrived on the Isle of Man.

“The Joey Dunlop Foundation project has taken 10 years to achieve. We now provide luxury self-catering accommodation for people with special needs, and with the support of the Microgaming Health & Care Trust we were able to acquire two top of the range evac chairs.”

Kevin Quirk, trustee

Manx Foundation for the Physically Disabled - Less + More

“The purpose of the services and facilities provided by the Manx Foundation for the Physically Disabled is to improve the quality of lives of everyone involved. With the considerable financial support from the Microgaming Health & Care Trust, we have been able to offer an enhanced level of transportation for our Day Club members, such that they are regularly able to join in our social activities, and their caregivers can have planned and vital respite.”
